Introducing my book Screen — Product Design Guidelines
Revolutionize the way you are thinking about design handbooks. Whether you are a beginner, junior designer, or you want to learn about design for your business, I have a treat for you!
Hello everybody,
I hope you’ve been enjoying your week so far. I have some great news that I couldn’t wait to share with you first: my book is finally out!
Are you ready to revolutionize the way you’ve always seen the design handbooks?
After years of working in the design field, and sharing my experience through YouTube and lectures along the way, I felt it was time to put my knowledge together and create something tangible for people to use at any time. So, ladies and gentlemen, I’m beyond happy and proud to present you the product of great labor, a project I’ve been dedicating lots of my time to: Screen - Product Design Guidelines is now out and available online!
The idea of writing a book was born a long time ago. In reality, I’ve always struggled with the handbooks, looking for an easy and comprehensive guide, something that would bring me right to the point. If you’re an aspiring designer, you know the struggle. Well, it turned out I had to become an established professional myself to gain some experience and write a book I’ve always dreamt of!
I’ve worked with several big companies, and have changed many design apps along the way, and as I’ve been watching the design world evolving (while evolving with it in my turn) I felt an ever-growing desire to share. Some things are timeless, the guidelines every designer should know and follow, but sometimes it’s not easy to point them out.
What are the biggest benefits of Screen?
Screen - Product Design Guidelines does exactly that: it brings you a set of guidelines, both basic and more advanced ones, to help you become a better designer.
It’s a no-nonsense, easy-to-digest handbook designed (pun intended) to give you direct and to-the-point guidance. Whether you’re just starting, or looking for a resource to help you level up your skills, you’ll find something in there for you. Moreover, my goal was to write a book that would fit not only designers but a much broader audience: if you’re a project manager or a start-upper wanting to expand your team, it’s a good place to start so you’ll know what to look for in the designers you’re hiring.
I’ve poured lots of work into this project and I’m really happy with how it turned out - but now it’s time for you to judge! I’m convinced that if it helps at least one person navigate the world of design (that sometimes could be too complex, if we’re being honest), then this book has achieved the desired result.
Becoming a good designer takes a lot of work, but Screen - Product Design Guidelines makes it a little bit easier, eliminating noise and helping you to concentrate on what really matters: your practical skills. Order it today to start your transformative design journey right away!
I can’t wait for your opinions on this book, so don’t hesitate to get in touch! Thank you for reading,
Eva.
