How to Keep Cool in Difficult Times.
Hello everyone,
hope you had a nice week. I did my best to have one too. This week I decided to not follow the news about the War so closely anymore. Mainly for the sake of my mental health. I think it’s important to get back to work and to provide help in areas where I can. One way I thought of to help at least a little was to create new jobs for those affected by war, so we are hiring a new copywriter for my team to begin with 🙂.
I was thinking a lot about the topics we discussed in the last newsletter (you can read it in the archive) and it still puzzles me. So I decided to search for inspiration and ideas from different books.
Animal Farm by George Orwell stood up. I read it quite a while ago, but the story is so relevant now! It’s about independence and how relatively innocent ideas can lead to totality. Which, well… unfortunately, happens.
If you haven’t read the book, I can only recommend it. It’s good, but also short and easy to read, so you don’t need to be afraid of not getting through it 😉. If you want to give it a go, you can get it here as a paperback, or here as an audiobook.
Feel free to share any other currently relevant book tips in our little book club 🙃📚. Have a nice weekend, and don’t forget to take care of yourself these days, it’s important!
Thank you for reading,
Eva.
